The Cricket

It’s a 20-25 over game (pending player numbers) with some slight rule variations to cater to different abilities.

Everyone gets a chance to contribute, with a few wildcard rules thrown in to keep things interesting.

We’ll run through the rules before the first ball.

What do players need to bring?

• All the normal stuff for a hot day out: sunscreen, a water bottle, suitable footwear.

• Any personal cricket gear you’d like to use. Namely a box!

• Additional food or drinks you might want, remember EQ Cafe and Bakery and Bentspoke are putting on food and drinks!

• Southern Cross Cricket (heard of GLENN MAXWELL ?!) have donated some incredible gear for the players to use and share.

What else is happening?

• The Canberra Raiders and ACT Brumbies are going to take part in a 6-hitting contest at the innings break!

• Players will be asked to sell raffle tickets for additional prizes.

• At the post match we will present awards for best bowler, best batter, the spirit of cricket, and reveal our find raising total!
